Nutella Cake Ball Truffles RecipeIngredients10 oz. semisweet/bittersweet baking chocolate , melted1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread or Nutella1/3 cup heavy cream, hotFor coating: ¾ lb. dark chocolate chips, 70% cacao1 cup roasted hazelnuts finely choppedDirectionsIn a small saucepan or double boiler, melt 10 oz. of bittersweet chocolate with cream and Nutella, stirring to combine. Remove from heat and refrigerate for 2 hours, covered.Form the truffles by scooping the mix 1 tablespoon at a time. Set over a tray covered with parchment paper and take to the freezer for 30 minutes.Melt ¾ lb. dark chocolate chips using a double boiler - or the microwave. Coat each truffle with chocolate, using a spoon or fork to dip. Tap to remove excess chocolate, then place back on the tray.
